FAQ and Information

My portraits are created using the highest quality, lightfast, artists' colour pencils. I use archival acid free paper or drafting film.  Many hours and just as much love goes into each drawing. 
 

*Goldfish special - I specialize in drawing your pet fish!  Currently running an offer to draw your (single) fish portrait - goldfish or otherwise.  I can offer multiple fish on the larger sizes - contact me for more information.
 

All prices are for one animal.  Please add 60% to the above prices for each further pet.
 

BOOKING
A 25% booking fee is required to secure a spot. All prices include progress photos to ensure you are happy with your commission.  Final payment required upon completion, before sending final artwork.
 

if your portrait is to be a gift, please contact me as far in advance as possible.  I will always do my best to schedule any portraits to be complete before the date they are requested, however this can depend on how full my schedule is and may not always be possible.  Please allow plenty of time for completion

POSTAGE 

Postage within the USA is included in the price. For clients outside the States, shipping will be quoted on an individual basis - please contact me for details.  As a note, in the current climate, shipping outside the States is quite pricey.

PHOTOGRAPHS
Choosing the right photograph is very important for your portrait.  The quality and detail of your photo has a great impact on the final piece, as the more detail and information, the more quality and accuracy in likeness I can provide in your final piece.  You can provide multiple photos to show your pet's accurate colors, markings, eyes, nose and any other details. Blurry, distant photos, or photos where your animal is not in a good pose will make it difficult to produce a piece that shows your pet's best personality!
 

I will do my absolute best to work with lower quality photos for memorial portraits when you may not have many photos of your beloved and missed pet.  I cannot guarantee the same level of detail, however I will do my very best.  Please contact me to discuss and share photos if this is the situation.
