Maisie the greyhound sketch in watercolour and colour pencil

A fast drawing of my greyhound, Maisie! Doesn't look like her much in the face, but I am ok with that as this was a test to see how colour pencil would look over a lot of watercolor layers - mostly wanted to play with letting watercolour shadows run everywhere and I really liked that bit!

A bit of ink too for fine details and definition.

It is interesting trying to flatten watercolour paper after slapping and soaking it!
