Anole in pastel

In-between commissions, I am exploring other mediums this year, & it has been so much fun (there is artwork *everywhere* in the house right now!)

I am very much obsessed with how beautiful pastels are to work with. I have a very small selection right now, hence why all the greens in this piece are the same shades....

Also learned that pastels are not so easy at a small scale - this piece is only ~8x7... used colour pencil for the tiny details.
